CLIPPER is a multi-channel diagnostic system design to do high resolution and high definition stationary recordings of pressure, pH, and Impedance.
CLIPPER was designed to be utilized (inteded use) for high resolution examinations of the gastrointestinal tract (esophagus, small bowels, biliary ways, ano-rectum, colon).
CLIPPER is a system based on a PC where all the data are transmitted.
The acquisition module ACQ-HR is a low power consumption device, powered directly from the USB port of the computer.
It is compatible with several pressures, pH and Impedance high resolution catheters (or any combinations of these channels) up to the following maximum configuration:
40 Pressure Channels.
16 Impedance Channels.
6 pH Channels.
Software:
The pressure values are displayed int contour mode, in conventional traces or a combination of the two.
The contour plot shows pressure encoded in color, the higher the pressure the greater the shift towards red.Along the vertical axis it is represented the location of the channels while the horizontal axis shows the time.
The software carries out a quick and accurate analysis and computes the parameters defined by many authors and collected on the magazine Neurogastroenterology & Motility.
